I've decided, from your photos that when I'm home in California I don't take enough pictures. Right now I'm blogging and photographing along the Kona coast on the Big Island of Hawaii. I love these photos of Cali's coast. You leave me always wanting more!

Nice web site. Sorry to hear about your mother.. we are going through a crisis as well. My brother is kind-of doing similar photos as you, and wondering the same moral issues when taking them. Your photo concepts and ability to capture a moment in time, remind me of his photos as well. He has great ones posted at www.bobdegus.com, and is working on a photo book as well. I hope things work out with your Mom. Take care, keep snapping that shutter.
The trees seem to form a word, each tree a different letter, causing you to strain your eyes to figure out each shape. Fantastic shot, you made something mundane into beauty.
This blog post, in particular, inspired me while in Kona, Hawaii. I looked at things differently than I normally do and found them more intriguing.
